Specialty Systems Teflon Coating Overview

Specialty Systems were created by DuPont as products with a special blend of PTFE, PFA, and FEP. It comes in three coating options: 2 coat, 3 coat Silverstone, or 3 coat ceramic reinforced process. They have excellent release and abrasion resistance and comply with FDA regulations regarding food contact.

Superior dialectic resistance
Good chemical/corrosion resistance

This coating is best used for nonstick uses as it complies FDA regulations. It can withstand temperatures up to 550°F for continuous use.
